Software Engineer

We have an exciting opening for an experienced full-time C#.Net Software Developer to join our innovative Software Development team in Madison, Wisconsin!

This position will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle for multiple projects and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on time. Some responsibilities may include the planning, development (back-end focused), and analysis of projects, software design, coding, testing, installation and supporting various clients through the implementation process. We are a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner (100% Microsoft Shop) and operates under an Agile Development Methodology.

General Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Web Development experience using Microsoft development technologies
  • Bachelor's, Associate’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong background in a variety of software design and development concepts
  • Microsoft certification or related technical certification is a plus
  • Self-starter with a passion for software development and desire to develop quality solutions within a collaborative development environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate customer's business requirements
  • Have direct experience working in an Agile Development Methodology environment

Technical Qualifications

We are looking for a competent Project Coordinator to take the lead of our projects and provide day-to-day oversight of administrative and operational functions in order to achieve project sustainability and success in accordance with defined target, strategies and goals.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator provide day-to-day oversight of administrative and operational functions.

Primarily responsible for the general administrative and operational functions of project management within defined projects. The Project Coordinator will work directly under the supervision of Project Managers/Program Managers to identify, coordinate and support key opportunities to deliver project objectives on-time and within budget.

This is an entry-level position within the field of Project Management. This position is ideal for individuals that is currently pursuing a career in Project Management and have an interest within the Information Technology sector.

General Job Functions

  • 1+ year of experience, or degree in Technical Writing, or similar qualification.
  • General admin capability, little or no formal training in project management.
  • Generally teamed up with directly with a Business Analyst (BA) and/or a Project Manager (PM) who are accountable for the project processes being successfully completed.
  • Gathers information from multiple sources to know the status of individual tasks and can roll that up into an overall project status report. Find the expert of the sub-topic, interview them for update/status.
  • Able to collect data and input into a budget-tracking template. Point to where we are in timeline.
  • Meeting notes are legible, consistently delivered, and stored where team members can find them. Generally, err on the side of recording everything. Not expected to discern important information such as risks or escalations from general meeting conversation.
  • Can make small edits or additions to stories at BA’s direction.
  • Ensures time entries are attributed to a specific story, corrects grammar and reports on billed time.
  • Keeps Jira up to date. Runs Jira during Sprint Planning meetings.
  • Coordinate team meeting schedules and help meeting lead in preparation activities.
