AI Readiness Assessment

Most labs and biohealth organizations struggle to implement AI because they’re not sure where to start, or their data foundation isn’t strong enough to support an initiative. This one-week, $5,000 flat-fee assessment provides a clear, defensible picture of your data, infrastructure, governance, and regulatory posture.

It delivers a clear determination of where your organization stands based out three outcomes: Foundational Gaps, Pilot-Ready, and Scale-Ready. Your report deliverables will be framed around what that means for your next move.

Foundation Gaps

Core prerequisites — structured data, instrument connectivity, governance — are not yet in place. We deliver a prioritized gap list and worthwhile investments.

Pilot-Ready

Foundational data exists, but governance or integration gaps limit a launch. We scope your first AI pilot project, rank use cases, and check your governance posture.

Scale-Ready

Working pilots or production AI are in place. The question shifts from “can we?” to “what next?” We deliver a portfolio roadmap, MLOps path, and ROI framing.

Deliverables

Start

Pre-Work

Intake questionnaire, document collection (existing data flow diagrams, validation packages, governance policies, if available), and stakeholder scheduling.

Days 1-2

Discovery

Kickoff with lab leadership, virtual facility tour, and interviews with key stakeholders across QA, IT, and operations. Hands-on review of your LIMS, ELN, and instrument interfaces.

Days 1-2

Days 3-4

 Analysis

Your organization is scored across six readiness dimensions. We map your data systems, rank candidate AI use cases, catalog regulatory gaps, and draft a report tailored to your outcome path.

Day 5

Readout & Delivery

Live presentation to leadership with your complete report — including scorecard, use case inventory, risk catalog, roadmap, and executive briefing.

What Happens After

You can work with us to implement an AI project or use the information to act independently. The point of the assessment is to end with clear paths forward and actionable next steps, whether you continue working with Yahara or not.

Why Yahara

We've built HIPAA- and CLIA-compliant diagnostic portals, bioinformatics pipelines for pathogen surveillance, ML-based image analysis, and instrument-to-LIS data integration layers in regulated settings.

We know the difference between a data problem and a governance problem. And we recognize that not every lab should be running an AI project yet. Saying so honestly is part of the value.
