Yahara to present at SLAS 2022

Synergy between LIMS and other software systems to promote productivity, organization, and preparedness within life sciences

February 2022, Yahara is excited be accepted to present at the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) International Conference and Exhibition for the 4th year in a row. SLAS, a professional society of academic, industry, and government researchers, continues to drive forward innovation in life sciences through education, networking, and career opportunities, as well as scientific publishings and conferences. Yahara is proud to accompany a strong lineup of industry leaders to demonstrate how a variety of software applications, including LIMS, analytics platforms, custom build systems, and others, can create robust software landscapes that expedite workflow processes and further research potentials.
In our talk, we'll present case studies from our laboratory landscape analysis program, and show how creating a network of integrated systems for laboratory operations can prevent errors and promote efficiency. We have found that many laboratories choose to invest in a LIMS but can overlook the importance of additional applications or functionality. By implementing a set of applications tailored to support additional features, functionality, and workflows in addition to the day to day scientific support provided by a LIMS, laboratories can become more organized, productive, and prepared to take on more tasks.
During our talk at SLAS, "Why a LIMS isn't enough: Building robust laboratory software landscapes," we hope to demonstrate how, why, and when laboratory software can go beyond LIMS and how different software strategies can be implemented to best fit a laboratory’s specific needs.
