Yahara Software Expands the Penthouse at 8000 Excelsior Drive

 

 

 

Yahara is completing its second expansion initiative at 8000 Excelsior Drive which will make the offices, open collaborative spaces, kitchen, and recreational facilities occupy just over 9000 square feet.

Tap into Security - Securing data transfers for vehicular telemetrics

The second installment in our 5 part series details a presentation made by senior architect Chad Mckee about securing transportation data.

Chad Mckee is a senior architect at Yahara Software and one of the key authors of Yahara Software's System Integration Framework.  He has extensive experience in working vehicular telemetric data and providing complex analytics and visualization capabilities. Chad addressed the Tap Into Technology audience about securing transportation data from IOT sources using certificate authorities and certificate pinning to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks.

The first installment details a presentation made by consultant Abbey Vangeloff illustrating a laboratory assessment program implemented for a US based client. Since this was a multi-tenant database, it was imperative that we create a secure environment where each user had access to only their own data. Perhaps more importantly, we wanted to create an atmosphere for the users where they could be confident they knew the correct workflows for keeping their local assessment data secure and only publishing the data to the national level that they wanted to share.
